Dear Sir or Madam: State Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance£¬Ministry of Commerce, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and the Peoples Government of Guangdong Provincewill jointly sponsor the second China Small and Medium Enterprises Fair & Sino-France Smalland Medium Enterprises Fair (hereafter referred to as CSMEF) with an aim to promote thedevelopment of Small and Medium Enterprises, build up a platform for nation-wide small andmedium enterprises to display their products, exchange information, and invite investment,to press ahead the trade and technological cooperation between France and China, and toadvance the development of small and medium enterprises. The second CSMEF will open at Guangzhou International Exhibition Center (China Export Commodities Fair Pazhou Complex) from September 12 to 15, 2005. Within a floor space of130,000 square meters in the exhibition hall, 6,000 standard booths will be made available.All province (municipalities), HongKong, Macao and French SME department will organize delegations to attend this fair to display the quality goods produced by well-known small and medium enterprises from China and France. We embrace business people from both home and abroad to CSMEF, most of whom are domestic retail enterprises, famous department stores, key wholesale markets and regional distribution centers for specialized goods, multi-national retailers and UN procurement agents. Participants in CSMEF also include domestic and overseas associations and intermediate service establishments for small and medium enterprises. During the Fair, a number of outstanding exhibitions held in Guangzhou and the Pearl River Delta Area will also provide the CSMEF participants with valuable business opportunities. A series of related events will also be held in support of CSMEF. These includes Senior Forum on Sino-France SMEs, Program Introduction for Sino-France SMEs, Purchasing Introduction of international retailers and UN procurement agents,Talks on SMEs Financing, Technological Commodities Fair and Investment Seminar and Training for Small and Medium Enterprises. Friends from countries and regions all over the world, including Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and domestic provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions are all cordially welcome to this CSMEF, whether they are engaged in business and industry, trade, finance, science and technology, or mass media.
