The Association of Promotion for Guangdong Economy & Investment is under thd jurisdiction of Guangdong Provincial Economic and Trade Commission. It is a social organization joined by circles of enterprises. Finance, theoretical research and press, together with various local departments within the province, all works of life are attracted to cooperate, research,communicate and promote economy and investment,  exchanging comicadvantage among on another. Since Guangdong is close to Hong Kong and Macao, having the advantages of rich human resources,easy access to information and developed economy, the aim of APGEI is to take advantage of its own network of information and reference services in order to promotea stable, rapid and healthy economic development within the province. APGEI has a lot of special and consultants at all levels, goverment offcials in various local government departments, famous entrepreneurs and celebritites of all walks of life. The association is a non-profit social organization with the status of a legal person, which connects Guangdong’s business circles,academic circles, press circles, government organs and individuals, in accordance with laws and administrative regulations.

The Associations aims are to follow out the Communist Party’s and government’s policies, laws and regulations, make full use of Guangdong’s advantages, such as adjacency to HongKong and Macao SARs, advantage of talents, easy access to information, booming economy, etc. Acting as an intermediary for introducing foreign capital and establishing domestic connections to acceletate Guangdong’s economic development.
